The Walinga Pneumatic discharge system is available on both trucks and semi-trailer hopper tanks. It offers superb handling of all types of feed and grain, particularly dairy and pelleted feeds.
Product is moved to the rear of the unit by a 9 in. (23cm) diameter trough auger and is gravity fed into the hydraulically driven airlock. Product is discharged from the airlock by air pressure and is carried through a 4 in. (100mm), 5 in. (125mm) or 6 in. (150mm) line (flexible hose or fixed stinger/boom) directly into the customers bin. Air discharge systems allow the feed to be moved on a "cushion of air" minimizing pellet damage or break-up of feed, as it is discharged into the feed bin.
The Walinga Pneumatic discharge system utilizes the Walinga designed and developed Super Duty Positive Displacement Blower, as well as the Walinga designed and developed Cast Iron Airlock.
Model 510 & 614 Blowers
The Walinga Blower is a precision machined, Positive Displacement design blower. Hard chrome internal surfaces provide for greater wear resistance in transfer applications. The Walinga blower is available in two prime sizes: Model 510-1100 cfm capacity and; Model 614-1800 cfm capacity.
The positive displacement blower provides the system with constant air at varying pressures allowing the operator a greater range of flexibility in loading and unloading of products. For every revolution of the impellors there is a positive displacement of air into the discharge line. This constant flow of air helps move the product on a cushion of air providing for a more consistent delivery of product.
The Walinga blower is the heart of the pneumatic system. The precision machined, cast iron housing, end plates and impellors are evidence of a rugged yet top performing component of the pneumatic discharge system.
Model AL 1314-4 Airlock
The Walinga Airlock is a precision-machined cast iron housing hydraulically driven airlock. The Walinga manufactured airlocks have been designed to provide maximum performance, with minimal product damage.
The fabricated steel rotor is available in 8 or 10 vane configurations with stainless steel, carbon steel knife edge or composite rubber adjustable tips. The injets and outlet are designed to allow for a freer flow of material providing for maximum capacity and minimal product damage.
The airlock is driven by a pressure protected, variable speed, hydraulic motor. Reversible rotation capabilities of the hydraulic system allow the operator to easily remove foreign objects, which may have ended up in the feed / grain.
