The stewardship of our farmland rests in the hands of many, from the farmhands that work the soil to the industry that supports them. Walinga has always been cognizant of the impact manufacturing may have towards the environment. The majority of our materials or parts are sourced from local mills and suppliers. In addition to supporting our local vendors we minimize the environmental transportation costs of shipping long distance.

Starting with our products, cost savings can lead to environmental savings.

The ALL — Aluminum Recycler provides an integral transportation link in the recycling of household waste. Utilizing a lighter weight with greater payload construction and minimal paint, it consumes less fuel.

The High Output Auger unit (HOAG Unit) efficiently moves bulk at unprecedented rate. A shorter unloading time equates to less fuel used per transfer. Extend this further and more efficient transfers require fewer vehicles spending less time on the road.

Xtra-Lite — Here is some easy math: lighter weight = more payload, lighter weight = less fuel = profit. Increased payload capacity increases the vehicles earning potential and again leads to fewer vehicles on the road.

How we "Reduce" for a greener earth.

Computer aided design expedites the virtual modeling of manufactured parts, eliminating the energy costs and waste associated with fabricated prototyping. "To be cut" parts are efficiently plotted on flat steel to minimize waste. Precise laser cutting technology itself is faster and therefore consumes less energy. The exhaust air is collected and filtered clean before released and 100% of the material waste that is generated is fully reclaimed and recycled.

Our paint shops utilize premium DuPont base and top coat products that are ultra low in HAPS, and are lead and chrome free. Pre-Paint acid wash preparations are filtered, demineralized and recycled. We implement only environmentally friendly cleaners and soaps. Our paint booths air filtration systems not only minimize any particulate discharge to the environment, they also collect and mass the collected particulate for recycling.

"ReUse and Recycle"

The Walinga Machining Division shares all the same Walinga environmental protocol offering original parts production and refurbishment services for all Walinga components. Additionally the Machining Division will refurbish or re-fabricate other manufacturers parts to keep your investments performing and out of a scrap yard. Occasionally clients will out grow the capacity of their current Walinga equipment. It happens! When it does, we offer programs that completely refurbish the used equipment posting it "with warrantee" online for a second or third generation purchase.
